Imagine selling a legitimate and valuable service that elevates peoples’ lives. Imagine sacrificing your time and energy to make this service effective to others, but also at a low cost to you. Imagine your profit being the reward of your service to others and of your self-sacrifice. Imagine swimming in profit from such virtuous activity.
Imagine government celebrating your profit instead of taxing you at a higher rate as you produce more virtue. Better yet, imagine not being taxed, not being punished, for your large and beautiful income. That would incentivize you to be even more virtuous.
